Fences are one of the most requested and controversial items dealt with by the Architectural Control Committee (ACC) since owners either love or hate fences. Since 2009, a standardized fence design has been adopted as one that may be approved provided the dimensions, location and impact to adjacent properties has been considered and reviewed by the ACC. Approval is required by Article II of the covenants, specifically paragraphs 2.4 thru 2.7 which essentially requires owners obtain approval PRIOR to installation. Failure to obtain approval by the ACC subjects owners to onerous consequences financially, emotionally and in time.
Below is the overall fence design that has been approved for most properties and is provided here for owner convenience in planning. Location and a plat of the actual area to be fenced, location and sizes of gates etc. are all required information before the ACC will review or approve the submission.
